The Soap Ranch is committed to the privacy and security for all of its clients. The Soap Ranch is the sole owner of information collected on this website. Information is not sold, or shared with any
outside parties with the exception of the information that is outlined under the sharing information section. The only information that is required is information that is necessary to complete an order.
This includes: shipping information, contact information, billing information, an email address, and payment information. Access to this information is given on a need to know basis. An email address
and password is required in order to complete an order. This is in place in order to allow the user to return to The Soap Ranch for information about their orders. If the user requests it, their payment
information can be eliminated from the database after an order has been completed by emailing support here.
Orders:
Information provided at checkout is used solely for the processing of orders. Information is not shared with anyone except for the merchant bank for authorization and approval. If any information is
found to be incorrect while the order is being processed, the customer will receive an email at the address that the customer logged in or registered with at the time of the order. The order processed is
protected by an elaborate security system and any important data received is treated as such.
Sharing Information:
Information is only given to third parties on a need to know basis. The Soap Ranch uses the third party shipping organizations of FedEx and
USPS. Only shipping information is provided to these third parties as a method of delivering the product to the customer and not for their personal use.
Payment information is provided to the merchant bank as a method of authorizing and approving orders. The information provided is only used for processing orders and is not for their personal use.
Ages:
The Soap Ranch will not knowingly accept and order provided by a person under the age of 18, unless under the presence of a consenting parent or guardian. Products provided by The Soap Ranch may be used, but
are not intended for children.
Security:
When the registration/order form asks you to enter sensitive information (such as your credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the industry standard for data encryption - SSL.
Thesoapranch.com uses SSL encryption provided by: Godaddy.com. To learn more about SSL, visit www.godaddy.com. DO NOT enter information into the
form if the url in the address bar does not say "https://" before the url.
Databases used by The Soap Ranch are stored at Godaddy.com locations. The Soap Ranch is not responsible for physical security breeches at these locations. Security measures are taken when transmitting
information between the user and the database.

Updating Information:
Users have the capability of updating any information that is listed for their account. This information is accessed by visiting the My Account link after logging in. The information provided under My Account
is only used to pre-fill checkout forms for convenience. The information other than the email and password fields are not required. If a user forgets their password, a reset can be sent to the registered email
address. Because the password is encrypted, it is impossible for The Soap Ranch to provide the user with the original password. Therefore, a new randomized password will be provided in the email. The user can
change the password back to a desired one after logging in and visiting the My Account link. If the user forgets their registered email, they can email support by visiting this page.
Order information cannot be changed or updated once submitted with the exception of cancelling an order. If a customer knows there is a mistake in the order after submitting, they can email support by visiting
this page. The customer may be asked to provide proof that they are the customer who placed the order. If a mistake is not noticed by the customer and is by The Soap Ranch,
an email will be sent to the email address that was used to log in/register at the time of the order.
